Well now, I still can't believe that I acutally managed to show up in one of F1 races after so many years being a fan of it.
Last week I wan't able to upload any pics, so I do it now - although none of them are pics worth prizes. It is impossible to shoot (no matter what camera you might have) with double wire net standing on the way to a clear shoot.
Monza, 14 September - I will always remember it. From all the races of Fomula 1, Monza is known as one having better weather through the years, alas! this year was raining like hell. Frankly, I was quite worried for the photo equipment so I haven't done half of the shooting that I planned, and also mud that was everywhere didn't help either.
Race was reportedly one of the best in long years, my favourite Fernando Alonso made as best as he could - being 4th, we got a fantastic winner, young Toro Rosso driver Sebastian Vettel and although red tifosi from Ferrari have no reason to be very happy because their legitimate Ferrari drivers, Massa and Raikkonen did do much on the race - Toro Rosso actually use Ferrari machines - so it was just like it.
What can I say - just being there, with all that noise and hum of the machines that races you by with more than 300 km/h - you have to experience that.
